Hey ya’ll! It’s finally FALL! I was feeling crafty this year and decided to make my very own Fall wreath. Now if you know me, you know I’m frugal and like to save money. AC Moore (craft store) was closing and I bought a ton of flowers and Fall decor. Since I did all of that I surely needed to do something with it besides tucking it away in the closet. With that being said, I’ll share with you what and you to will know how to make a quick and easy seasonal wreath.
Items Needed
- Wreath
- Stemmed artificial flowers (decorative and regular)
- Ribbon
- Wreath hanger
Optional
- Flower cutting scissors
- Glue gun
- Wood decor
All items can be purchased from a craft store, Walmart, Dollar General, etc.
Let’s Make Your Quick & Easy Wreath!
Step 1
Gather Supplies. After all supplies are gathered, remove any tags or stickers from wreath, flowers, decor, etc. Take a look at your wreath and make sure there’s no extra stems hanging from the wreath.
Step 2
Decide whether you’re going to cover the full wreath or just half. I decided to do half. That gives me more flowers to use for another wreath.
Step 3
Place the decorative stemmed flowers inside slots on the wreath to your liking. I didn’t place the same flowers next to each other. I switched it up. One decorative flower stem was placed at the top portion of the wreath, then another decorative flower placed underneath.
Step 4
To make the wreath full, cut some of the regular stemmed flowers and place them in the inner part of the wreath.
Step 5
Once you’ve assembled the flowers like you want, if you were unable to cut the long stem, just tuck it on the back side of wreath. I didn’t use a glue gun or cut my long stems, I tucked them.
Step 6
Take your ribbon and start wrapping the unfinished portion of the wreath. To secure the ribbon you can use a glue gun or just tuck it in the wreath.
Lastly
Get your wreath hanger and place your wreath on your door. Since I had additional decor, I placed the orange wooden sign on the wreath hanger first, and then I placed the wreath on top. Now you know how to make a quick and easy seasonal wreath!
